The Threads of Our Ancestors II will be an immersive conscious dance journey into listening to those who came before us - welcoming their gifts, wisdom, and resilience while creating space to meet and heal the bits of suffering that continue to resonate through our lineages.
On the dance floor we fall into wild, spontaneous, dances together and we experience the profound inter-connectedness of life. This resource both deeply grounds us in the body and enlivens our awake-ness. From this space we will dive into reclaiming the threads of our ancestral lineages - the good the troubled and the disowned.
During this workshop we will :

Resource deeply in the dance - grounding in the body and opening to awake-ness.

Support and inspire each other

Get curious about the wounds and suffering of our ancestors that live on in our own embodiment

Awaken and embrace places of shame, numbness and the transgressions of our ancestors.

Dance the undigested, dance for reclamation and dance for forgiveness

Learn to stand more fully in our lineage with honesty and open relation to 'things as they are'.
The more fully we stand in our lineage with love, honesty and forgiveness, the more we open beyond our edges of numbness and undigested emotion. Deepening together, the space between us becomes a richer and more present ‘field’ of love; compassionate, joyful, vibrant and intimate beyond separation
About the Teacher
Jo Hardy (UK) has worked with hundreds of people over more than 30 years as a conscious dance and group facilitator, somatic psychotherapist, transformational coach, supervisor and trainer. She is an accredited teacher of 5 Rhythms (Waves and Heartbeat), Open Floor and Movement Medicine. Her work integrates conscious dance, dynamic heart inquiry, embodied awakening, somatic psychotherapy, internal family systems, process work, authentic relating and deep ecology. She teaches workshops in Portugal since 2023 and is offering, for the second time, a year-long embodiment facilitation training here in 2027. Memories from The Threads of Our Ancestors workshop at Ten-Chi, 2024
In June 2024, Jo held "The Threads of Our Ancestors" at Quinta Ten-Chi, Portugal. We travelled in time through the 4 directions and felt into our ancestral lineages. We re-membered the intricate fabric we were made of, and the way it connects us to the web of life. We forgave, thanked and celebrated those who came before us, and healed some of the wounds that were passed on through generations. This upcoming workshop in November 2026 will be, in a way, a continuation of that work.

The price for the workshop is divided into 3 slots, depending on when you register:

- 10 % for Release Members (you can become one by quickly filling up this form)

This event will happen at Feel2B, a great cork dancefloor in central Lisbon.
It is very easily reached by metro or bus and easy to park around > google maps.
